2016年から2017年、申年から酉年への狭間のひと時、
今年を振り返りながら、来年の抱負に思いを馳せる一期一会。
The special day for year-crossing time---New Year’s Eve.
The transition time from 2016 to 2017, Year of the Monkey to the Rooster.
The special and unique opportunity for you to think about next year’s resolutions, looking back on this year.
陶芸家•生駒啓子の円形オブジェによりしつらえる茶室空間。明主航による茶器、出石陵磨、市川萌による菓子は、この日、この時のための特別なご用意になります。衣装デザイナー藤本ゆかりによる演出もどうぞお楽しみに。
ゆく年、来る年のはざまのひととき。皆様をお待ち申し上げております。
The special arrangement will be waiting for you on that day---in the unique tea room with a round object made by a professional potter, Keiko Ikuma---with the tea cups made by Wataru Myoshu and the Japanese sweets by Ryoma Izushi and Moe Ichikawa.
Also, just wait till you see the staging by Yukari Fujimoto, costume designer.
We are hoping to see you there to share the year-crossing time together.

金戒光明寺・大晦日〜新年行事のご案内
金戒光明寺本堂において、23時半から歳末回向（年の瀬の法要）、
元旦0時より修正会（元旦法要）が行われます（各15-20分ほど）
修正会にご参加いただいた方には、お帰りの際にお札がいただけます。
また、境内の鐘つき堂では「除夜の鐘つき」の行事がございます。
整理券（無料）が必要になりますが、お茶券お申し込みの時に
ご一緒にお取りすることが可能でございますので、
申し込み時にその旨を明記ください。
※ 鐘つきは23時40分頃より始まります。）
※ お茶券よりも多い枚数の整理券はお申し込みいただけません
※ 当日参加（予約なし）の方には鐘つき券はお取りできません
年の瀬ならではの行事をどうぞお楽しみください。
Special Information
In the main hall of Konkai-Komyoji Temple, the Saimatsu-eko (Buddhist memorial service at the end of the year) starting at 23:30 and the Shusho-e (Buddhist memorial service on New Year’s Day) starting at 24:00 will be performed (15-20 minutes for each).
The Ofuda (paper charm) of Knkai Komyo Temple will be given for the people who joined the Shusho-e.
Also, at the Kanetsukido (a place where a big Buddhist bell is to be struck) in the temple precinct, the “Jyoya no Kanetsuki (striking a temple bell at midnight on New Year’s Eve)” event will be held.
You need the numbered ticket (free of charge) and you can get it when you apply for the tea ceremony by describing that in the application.
※ The striking bell will be starting around 23:40.)
※ You cannot apply more number of the numbered ticket
than that of the tea ceremony.
※ You cannot get the ticket for the temple bell striking
on the day without booking in advance.
Please enjoy the special event only for the end of the year.
